Murray, Appaloosa Gelding

Murray's story

How Murray came to us

The Dharma Horses

LUNA came to us having been starved nearly to death TWICE before she was 3 years old.

GITA was dumped in the desert, blind and starving. We rescued her and she will live the rest of her life in Sanctuary.

JUNIPER is a Navaho Nation, captured, spayed Mustang mare with a goiter who has her forever home here.

SAGE came to us barely able to walk. Pulling his shoes and balancing his hooves brought him back to soundness.

BREEZER came to us because his owner had multiple surgeries and he needed a soft place to land.

DREAM CAT came to us after having a foal that had to be pulled. She could not have any more babies, the breeder had taken very good care of her.

Sweet HUBBA's owner had passed over, he needed a soft place to land.

TEABERRY was a competition horse who had to retire at a young age. He is in Sanctuary so he won't ever be pushed past his limitations.

ANDY was outgrown by his family years ago and came to us as a "travel size" ambassador in the days before COVID.

COMET is a captured Mustang in his 20's whose owner died and the 16 other horses were placed, but he was lame and needed us because no one wanted him.

Horses who passed over the rainbow bridge - we give lifelong homes to elderly horses. this means, they are loved and cared for to the very end.
