Cassiopea

Cassi came to us 2/28/23

She was an estray, dumped in the desert, starving. We were not certain she would survive. Using the UC Davis starved horse refeeding protocols, we got her eating. Dental work, hoof care, herbs, deworming and heaps of love brought her back to health.

We thought she was a foal - but the Vet aged her at 3 years old! We taught her basic skills. She is a sweet soul, tiny, but accepting of everything. She has learned to wear a blanket and a saddle (we do not ride her), just things every horse should have some experience with in life.
