She is a Holsteiner mare in her mid-20's. Dalai belonged to an elderly couple who could no longer care for her. She has a grade 4 heart murmur. She is a kind soul, loves everyone here.
She is 18hh - a big mare! We have to be always aware of her heart and she is on hawthorn berry herb to help maintain her cardiovascular system. Dalai is here in sanctuary for life. We are her "soft landing". She had been a competition horse and a broodmare. Now, she just lives her best life being deeply loved and watching all the activities each day.
